Introduction

Adonia Right Hand Care Initiative Limited is a Ugandan Community-Based Organization (CBO) established to respond to the persistent social and economic challenges affecting vulnerable households, especially in Masozi – Bukasa, Kira Municipality, Wakiso District. The organization was founded on the belief that sustainable community transformation begins with empowering individuals and families to overcome poverty through practical support, education, and capacity building. Recognizing the growing number of orphans, children from low-income families, elderly persons, and people living with physical disabilities who lack access to basic needs and opportunities, the Initiative focuses on inclusive welfare programs that restore dignity and hope. By prioritizing education support, social protection, and community empowerment, Adonia Right Hand Care Initiative Limited seeks to create an environment where disadvantaged groups can participate meaningfully in development.

Guided by its objectives, the Initiative implements programs aimed at poverty eradication through entrepreneurship promotion, youth vocational skills training, and the formation of self-help groups that strengthen household incomes. It also champions food security through household-level agricultural support, while advocating for children’s health rights and promoting hygiene and sanitation practices within communities. Through partnerships, community mobilization, and grassroots engagement, Adonia Right Hand Care Initiative Limited works to uplift livelihoods, improve well-being, and foster resilient communities capable of sustaining their own development for generations to come.
